Meet the Principal

Welcome to the Champion Bay Senior High School community. This school is part of a diverse and energetic local community located in the Midwest. I consider myself very fortunate to be the principal here and to have been a part of the dynamic growth of the school over the past four years.

Our school is fortunate to be large enough to cater for individual student needs, and also small enough so that every student is known for their strengths and skills that they bring with them. Our school community regularly achieves impressive results and this reflects the quality of the teaching and learning, our unique focus on wellbeing and our capacity to cater for individual student pathways as they head towards senior schooling. Our students understand and embrace the school values of respect, aspire and resilience. 

Respect extends to self, relationships with others and the environment and includes manners and courtesy. We encourage our students to set goals, to strive and to ‘be your best’. We work with our students to develop the skills to persevere and bounce back when things get difficult, and to build self-worth. 

We value our parents and caregivers as important partners in their child’s educational journey. Being at school regularly is the first key to success. We ask that you join us and encourage your child to attend school every day when they are fit and well to do so.
